Took my Iphone 6 and Iphone X to fix factory for a data transfer. i was told this could be done within an hour. 5 hours go by and as told it is unable to be done as they do not have enough data on their computer. i even offered my own laptop for data use to unsure this service could be done, Then had the rudest customer service i have ever experienced If the service could not be done i would of preferred honestly than rudest at the end. Not a good first impression. Would not recommend going to fix factory if you are wanting a data transfer as they can not preform the service.
Very unhappy with the service from Allenstown staff. Took an iphone and late model ipad in for screen repairs. Both miserable failures.The iphone came back with lines on the screen after 20 mins of use. Took it back (a week later) and the rep said "Not a screen issue, must be a battery prob." When completely frustrated with the issue, I took it a place in Brisbane, explained the issue, was prepared for a battery replacement. Not the battery - Fix Factory apparently uses aftermarket screens. Brisbane mob installed a OEM screen - works fine now.The ipad had various attempts to repair screens. With the last one the fingerprint button was replaced with older style button. The person who handed it over said, "It works fine." Took 5 seconds to see that it was ruined. Staff member did not check new install before handing it back. They replaced the ipad (appreciated, but at additional cost to me in downtime and postage).UPDATE Have now edited this post to remove the things objected to by Rhys. What remains above can be summarised by this: we had a bad experience with the service delivery of Fix Factory. (1) No warranty provided on faulty iphone screen, and (2) ipad declared fixed when it was clearly not (wasting our time and increasing costs).Like Rhys, happy to receive enquiries regarding the poor customer service of Fix Factory. Really appreciated the phone call from Rhys, which ignored the issues above, and focused on non-issues.
It was hard to find a repair shop who could fix my Motorola screen. Got lucky with fix factory, Rockhampton. Service was excellent and good pricing. Would recommend anyone who has a mobile to fix.
