It's a great park, two pools, friendly staff, clean amenities. Nice grassy sites with slabs. Pet friendly. Good deals if you look on the discovery park website too.
Very disappointing, drove 7.5 hrs from the Gold Coast arrived at the holiday park and checked in, entered our cabin to discover it hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests - beds unmade, dirty towels on floor, empty pizza boxes on the bench etc... called reception and were told they would send the cleaner there asap! So we took the kids to the water park while we waited. Arrived back at cabin at 3pm and it was still dirty! Called reception again and was told we would have to just wait until the cleaner could get there, we were wet and cold it was raining and we didn't have any towels. We asked if there was another solution and were told no that was out only option. We requested a different cabin and the staff member said they would see if anything was available, we were given another cabin, arrived at that one only to be just as disappointed. This one had been cleaned however I use that term very loosely, the bed had clean linen but the overall standard of cleanliness was very poor. Bathroom/toilet walls and ceilings covered in mould, all the walls were covered in scuff marks, fridge had a very bad smell and the floors were terrible. The staff were very unapologetic and unenthusiastic, very poor customer service. Incredibly disappointed and would never recommend this place to anyone!
Great Location. Beautiful pools and water park for the kids. Rooms were reasonably priced, clean, tidy and comfortable although the ceiling fan and air-conditioning needs a good clean.
Pretty setting. Quieter than l expected being on a fairly busy road. Looked like there was lots for kids to do. Clean amenities. Convenient location. Pets ok always a winner with us.
It was okay. The cabins need some TLC. Old and tired. The drain in the shower/bath made water leak while bathing, wasting one of our most precious resources. Found some rubbish from a previous guest, which was disappointing. A shade over the toddler pool would keep it at a more reasonable temperature. It was hot and gross. The grounds were beautiful and the water park is exciting! We are members now and look forward to future stays.
